Rogelio V. Susaya and his faithful wife, Fidela P. Susaya, founded Susaya Construction 1978. Originally from Peru, Rogelio and Fidela moved to the United States at an early age, calling America their new home, while never forgetting their humble beginnings.
Like many immigrants who journeyed to this country seeking a better life, they had a dream to own their own business. However, It was only after numerous years of working for others in the construction industry, learning the skills of the trade, and getting hands-on experience, that the persevering Rogelio and Fidela succeeded in turning their dream into a reality.
They approached each job with pride, diligence, and integrity. This approach gave their customers the assurance that each and every job would be well done. This tenacity, along with their high quality of work, helped them to succeed with the incorporation of Susaya Construction in 1982.
The Next Generation of Susaya Construction
After that, the image of a company built proudly on hard work, good morals, and strong knowledge was instilled in their sons, Roger D. Susaya and Michael J. Susaya. Michael and Roger both spent decades working alongside their father, Rogelio. Through this experience they acquired all the knowledge and skills necessary to carry on the family business with pride and confidence.
Sadly, their mother Fidela has now passed on, but her memory and love live on through the connections she built with her family and friends. Their father Rogelio, although retired, continues to play an active role within the company. Together, Roger and Mike, along with their office administrative assistant RoseMarie Chirico, have managed the company for over a decade.
